Aimee (born December 11, 2001),[1][2] commonly known by their online alias Aimsey, is a Welsh YouTuber, Twitch streamer[2][3] and TikToker[2] known primarily for creating Minecraft content. They are also known for their TikTok content and participating in MC Championship.[4][5]

As of October 2024, Aimsey has over 600 thousand subscribers on YouTube and 1 million followers on Twitch.

2019–2021: Early streaming career and TikTok following

Aimsey created their Twitch account in 2018. They began streaming in March 2019 primarily playing Roblox until their hiatus in 2020, before returning under the new username Aimsey, and began to stream Minecraft.[6]

In 2019, Aimsey created their TikTok account.[7]

Aimsey joined Misfits Gaming in 2021.[8][9][10]

2022–present: Dream SMP, MC Championship

In 2022, Aimsey joined the Dream SMP[11] and briefly participated from March 16, 2022 to November 13, 2022.

On April 25, 2022, Aimsey won LGBTQ Streamer of the Year from the Gayming Awards 2022 hosted by Gayming Magazine.[12]

They also participated in MC Championship, playing in 6 championships, and winning 2 of them, MC Championship 32 on the Red Rabbits team[4] and MCC Pride 24 on the Cyan Coyotes team.[4]

Philanthropy

In June 2022, Aimsey participated in a Minecraft charity tournament held by the MC Championship called MCC Pride with several other online creators. The event managed to raise over $145,000 for The Trevor Project.[13][14]

Personal life

Aimsey was born on December 11, 2001[1] in Swansea, Wales. They were a actor in while growing up, starring in Torchwood: Children of Earth and Casualty.[2][15]

They identify as a lesbian[2][7] and have confirmed that they have ADHD.[6][16] They also use any pronouns.[2][7] Aimsey is currently dating streamer and YouTuber Guqqie.[17]
