Monalisa Abigail Semaha was born in the United States on 31st january,1988 and moved to Accra at age five. She is the fourth child of her mother Madam Catherine Ama Deh and her father Mr Abednego Tsatsu Semaha. Monalisa was educated at the Soul Clinic International School where she had her basic education. She then went on to study General Arts at Labone Senior High School and then to the Ghana Institute Of Journalism where she studied RADIO/TV presentation and effective communication.
While in primary and high school, Monalisa loved to dance and participated in a lot of activities, performing and hosting shows in and outside campus. She was also an award winning child presenter with Ghana Broadcasting Co-Operation (GBC RADIO 2).

In 2005, she was the location presenter for famous tv program (LOOKING FOR LOVE) that aired on the TV3 Ghana network.
In 2014, she was the studio presenter for Etvs (WHIRLPOOL CELEBRITY TALK SHOW)
She currently works at Kantanka Tv hosting the famous celebrity show (LINKUP WITH MONA GUCCI)
Radio In 2006, she worked at Hot FM And worked at Great FM in 2008
