This is a template for creating external links for Bible verses. It is different from template:bibleverse and template:bibleverse-nb, in that it doesn't need an external resolver script. It is also different from template:bibleref, in that the third parameter is the display text for the resulting link, allowing for greater flexibility of use; it also offers access to more translations.

Usage

The usage of this template is easy.

Parameters:

Book of the Bible
Chapter:Verse[-range]
Display text (defaults to "[1] [2]")
Translation code (see list above, defaults to "niv")

So:
