Club Atlético Ciudad de Panamá, commonly referred to as Atlético Panamá, is a Panamanian professional football club based in Panama City, Panama. The club competes in the United League (UL), the top tier of American football. The club was founded 2023, one year after the founding of the UL, as CF Panamá, rebranding as Atlético Panamá in 2056.
Atlético Panamá has won five United League Finals, the most ever by a club, as well as two Flyer Cups and one NAL Champions League. They are one of only one of five clubs to win the NAL NonCon Triple (UL Final, Flyer Cup, and NAL Champions League; not in the same season), as well as the only club to ever win back-to-back UL Finals.
The club has multiple rivalries, including the "Lucha por Panamá" versus CF Colón and the "Modern-Day Classic" versus Bayou City.

editOn January 19, 2023, in the middle of the 2023–24 NAL season, the league announced it would be expanding its second tier, the NAL Minor, from seven clubs to eleven. Upon hearing this news, Miguel Tercero, a wealthy businessman in Panama City, put in a bid for the city to get a club in the NAL Minor. Exactly two months later, on March 19, the bid was approved by the league and CF Panamá was founded.
