Fuchs is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
cellular automata[1] (cf. Bennett's four laws of quantum information).
Early career
editBorn in Texas?, Fuchs earned Bachelors of Science in both Physics and Mathematics from the University of Texas, Austin in 1964, where his studies included research work supervised by John Wheeler, and received his PhD from the University of New Mexico in 1996 for work on quantum information theory. His Ph.D. supervisor was Carlton Caves.
