For 13 years, I have worked in the corporate library at a biopharmaceutical company; the last five spent doing information architecture. I especially enjoy ontology and vocabulary modeling.
At the same time, I am studying informatics and information architecture at the University of Washington's iSchool and working on a minor in the history of science.
In my free time, I enjoy consuming and analyzing transformative works related to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories about Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson and engaging with the online communities who create and celebrate them.
I'm a military brat, lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, San Antonio, Texas, Lompoc, California, Rantoul, Illinois, and spent a year in Wellington, New Zealand as part of a high school student exchange.
I have a rescued, five year old American Pit Bull Terrier.
