Temporada Project
editCompiling information sources for a page about the South American Temporada GP series (Argentina, Brazil etc) and would like to use this page for initial notes, lists of sources and other data because none of it is ready for the sandbox... also in the hope that other users may find the odd missing info or at least some reference leads.
Many of the links below came up inadvertently through trying to search out info on the 1942 Buenos Aires Grand Prix and the various names for the Costanera circuits. There are considerable opinions (one at an AutoSport forum thread for example) that the 1942 Buenos Aires GP never took place, most likely due to some typo published in some contemporary editorial, that was picked up by everyone else. The reason given, was that the few sources listing a 1942 GP show near identical race results as published for the 1941 GP. Also the various (Buenos Aires) Costanera circuit names I've encountered: Avenida Costanera, Costanera Sur, "plain" Costanera and even Costanera Callejero, which I thought was used exclusively for the Buenos Aires "Circuito Callejero" Sports Car races... ?
