Mountain Fila
There is a rare designer dog breed known as the Mountain Fila. This breed is fairly new and came into existence on January 13, 2021. It is a rare breed, as there are only 20 existing Mountain Filas in the world at this time. This unique canine is from the rare breeding of a male Boerboel with a female black and tan Bloodhound. The result is a massive sporting dog that is not only faithful, smart and perfect for guarding family and flock, but his superior nose and athletic build makes him a great hunting dog - capable of taking down even the largest of game.
The Mountain Fila ranges in size from 25-30 inches in height with an average weight of 120-160 pounds. Males being larger than females. Mountain Filas are fawn in color with destinctive black muzzles. Their tails are docked for sporting - guarding purposes.
