Augsburg, Barga, Halifax Nuremburg, Reims, San Diego, Trenton, Tirana, , . They both have two obviously notable Latin Catholic churches, and I think there are other notable churches that might be notable but don't have articles (like Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (Trenton)). Other than that I agree with you. Many of these cities It makes me giggle a bit at the idea of 3–4+ notable Catholic Churches in cities that probably don't have many L. Catholic churches and likely won't anytime soon. (Shenzhen, Tiruchirappalli, Tel Aviv, Dubai, Portland, all of the Scandinavian cities on this list, etc).

  • Disallow generally in mainspace but while using common sense As has been mentioned repeatedly, lists and categories are not the same thing. I would generally be disappointed if I searched for a list but be taken to a category. But judging from my experience at RfD, circumstances may arise where such a redirection may be helpful, such as retargeting a plural title to a category.
  • Allow outside of mainspace
  • Disallow in mainspace when the redirect page title suggests that the target is a certain type of list article (List(s) of. . ., Index of. . ., Outline of, Glossary of. . .,)
  • in mainspace otherwise
