I have given up editing Wikipedia articles. Many dozens of times I have seen accurate, clear, and referenced information removed by someone who simply appears to not like what was written. Very commonly in the discussion of the edit the user making the deletion makes it very clear that what was in the article did not agree with their beliefs. Any article where popular beliefs do not align with facts is continuously subject to this type of destructive edit. As has been well shown, beliefs are always more important than facts. Sadly, this fact is reflected throughout many of these pages by the popular knowledge army of users, the believers, eliminating by deletion the presented facts.
