St. George's Logo.gif and St Brendans Crest.gif

The file which was being used at St. George's College, Quilmes, was deleted from Commons on 26 April, please see here. The rules for non-free images are less strict on the English language Wikipedia than they are on Commons, which is where the St Brendan's symbol is, so if you have the St George's one you might like to go to Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard and create a new file for it. You will need to provide a "non-free rationale" to cover its use, and as a guide you might like to look at what is said for the St Brendan's one. Such graphics are in principle protected by copyright and other laws, but a non-free rationale enables Wikipedia to make limited use of them. If that were to be challenged, I believe it would need to be by the schools themselves. Moonraker (talk) 05:37, 2 December 2012 (UTC)
