We, the Society of the Carme to te Sisters of St. Teresa,

understand that children in the agup of (0-18 )are vulnerable

to the social environment in which they live especially because

being juveniles they are dependent on prerogative the realization

of their rights. Therefore we need to acknowledge that it is their

prerogative to be protected from abuse regardless of their race,

ethnicity, religion or community, sex, gender identity, sexual

orientation or disability,

This policy is framed as a guideline for all stakeholders of the

CSST institutions (children, parents, teachers, contractual staff,

non-teaching staff and Management) to have a zero tolerance

approach towards Child abuse.

Thus we endeavour to be the voice of every child under our

care by promoting awareness, education, recognition, prevention
