Shah was born in Narashingdi in 1984 , to shah mojibur rahman and samsun naher .His father was a high school head teacher and mother is housewife.Shah grew up at monohordi in narashingdi.
While completing his SSC and HSC exams in Narashingdi,shah started writing for local newspapers. He also took avidly to sports, excelling in the ckiket and martial arts like Kyokushin Karate and Jiu-jitsu. After completing his HSC , he attended the BU, to study English and literature . During his undergraduate years in BU he worked for the university newspaper and volunteered in local electoral campaigns, works with youth development forum , which afforded him his initial experience of local social environment .
