Kaines Playground Season 1
Episode 1 - In the Pilot episode, Kaine takes a rubber sword to school and gets in trouble for it. He gets detention that night and on his way home afterwards, he comes across a weird sword. Kaine takes the sword and goes home. All night long he is fascinated by the sword. In the morning, Kaine decides to take the sword back to where he found it, just in case it belonged to someone. Before he can return it, a portal to the kitten realm opens up. He hesitantly steps inside and finds a crazy world with cool creatures. He finds a human just like him and is told that the sword used to belong to him. Kaine wants the master to teach him his ways but he refuses. Kaine gives up and decides to adventure the new world. Later, after almost being killed by a strange beast, Kaine is saved by the master. The master decides to train Kaine in the morning.
Episode 2 - In the second episode, Kaine begins his training with the master swordsman. Kaine learns proper stances and fighting styles with a sword. After a short training montage, days have gone bye and now Kaine is ready for his final challenge. He must find and slay the beast that tried to kill him when he first arrived. He finds the cave of the beast and enters. He sneaks through with a torch in one hand and his sword in the other. He finds what he believed to be the beast, but it’s smaller. He sees more of them and realizes that the beast has babies. After letting his guard down, the mother beast attacks Kaine and nearly kills him. However Kaine has other plans. He is able to reach his sword and fight the beast. He is able to beat the beast but hesitates when it comes time to kill it. He doesn’t want the babies to be motherless. He lets the beast live and returns to the master. The master knows what happened and says Kaine will have to be stronger if he wants to be a good swordsman. He is told that he still has lots of training left and is nowhere near ready. Kaine promises he will be ready when the time comes.
