Mutabazi Ally (born 1995, Kigali, Rwanda) is a Rwandan fashion developer, entrepreneur, and advocate for the modeling and fashion industries. He is best known for founding several initiatives that have significantly contributed to the growth of Rwanda’s fashion scene.
In 2016, Mutabazi founded Star Fashion Rwanda, an organization aimed at promoting local fashion talent and fostering creativity within Rwanda’s fashion industry. Two years later, in 2018, he co-founded Africa Model Management, a platform designed to provide opportunities and representation for aspiring models across the continent.
Mutabazi further cemented his influence in the Rwandan fashion sector by establishing the Rwanda Fashion Models Union in 2019, where he currently serves as the Chairman. The union advocates for the rights and professional development of models in Rwanda. He also founded the Rwanda Modelling Academy, which focuses on training and mentoring young talent to thrive in the modeling and fashion industries.
In addition to his entrepreneurial work, Mutabazi has actively participated in major events that celebrate and promote fashion in Rwanda. Notably, he was part of Africa Next Super Models 2022, a prestigious event highlighting top modeling talent from across the continent. He also achieved recognition as the recipient of the Best Achievement Award at Super Model Rwanda, further solidifying his status as a leading figure in the Rwandan fashion industry.
