Khalifa Kondo is a Council Director appointed in 2016 by Hon. John Pombe Magufuli The 5th President of United Republic of Tanzania. Upon this appointment, Khalifa Kondo served as a Town Director at Kondoa Town Council. In 2019,Khalifa Kondo was transferred to The President's Office Regional Administration and Local Government where he served at a Directorate of Policy and Planning. This department is responsible for coordinating Planning, Budgeting and Monitoring & Evaluation for the President's Office, Regional Secretaries and all 185 Local Government Authorities. On the other hand, this department has a mandate to facilitate proper implementation of the Decentralisation Policy which is well known as a D by D policy.
Khalifa Kondo has a vast experience in diplomacy and negotiation. He has the highest diplomatic training currently available in the country. He is a graduate of The Center for Foreign Relations also known as College of Diplomacy, class of 2007.
Prior of being a Council Director, Khalifa Kondo has served in different offices both in public and private sector.
