My Oppo is a British charity which provides support to family members of those suffering with PTSD during service within the MOD. Founded in 2020 by Rebecca and her husband Kheiron Howard. Although a new charity, My Oppo has attracted the support of high profile ambassador such as ex premier league and international footballer Michael Johnson.
History
My Oppo was co-founded by Rebecca Howard and her husband Kheiron Howard in October 2020 after a personal struggle with the realities of the mental health illness post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Kheiron was diagnosed with the illness in 2020 after battling in silence for six years being unaware of what was effecting the significant changes in his life. After Rebecca searched for a group or a club where she could share her experiences with people going through similar struggles to her surprise no club existed. The charity My Oppo was born.

My Oppo's board of trustees are responsible for the overall control and strategic direction of the charity, in line with Government rules all trustee positions are unpaid and all in a voluntary capacity.
