About:
editThe purpose of this page is to restructure, revamp and streamline the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling as a whole and in certain areas, with special concentration to the project's adherance to the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Specific goals include:
To do
edit- Devise guidelines for all areas of this project with, if possible, (cited) rationale.
- Bring all interwiki links in line with the style guide, especially where dates are concerned.
- Provide a maintained list of general credible sources that can be applied to wrestling articles.
- Streamline all citing within the project (i.e. lets pick a particular set of templates and methods for the project and apply it to all articles within our scope). See also:
- Wrestler/People articles within the scope of WP:PW should adhere to Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons (official policy)
- Maintain a list of pages that have been moved (renamed) so that we can keep all links pointed to the right place. (Past moves should be listed here also).
- Resolve all debates:
- Itallics vs. no itallics debate in regards to TV shows and PPVs.
- Future events vs. no future events debate in regards to matches on wrestler articles vs PPV articles. (See Talk:Triple H#Return).
- Resolve SmackDown!/TNA/other spoiler debate - allow spoilers or not? When is it ok, when is it not ok?
- Clean up "Participants" list - honestly, a very small percentage of the people still on that list still contribute and we to have a realistic view of how many people we should expect to see in votes, GA/FA reviews, requests for comment etc so that we can come up with reasonable time limits for voting.
