Introduction
editNalex.eng1101 is a freshman at Georgia Southern University. Yes, I am of the female “species”. I'm an American, native of the southeastern part of the country. I plan on graduating with a dual degree in Fashion and Merchandising and Spanish. It’s fair to say that I never knew this part of Wikipedia existed! But, I now know this because of my teacher, Dr. Hamilton also known as, User:GeorgiaSouthernlynn. Check her out, she’s incredibly witty.
Education
editI’m currently attending Georgia Southern University, which is in Statesboro, Georgia. I received my high school diploma from a DeKalb County high school, which is now under investigation for cronyism. I would love to learn and speak the Spanish language, fluently.
Scholarships
editBecause I’m so smart, well, I kept a decent grade point average. I’m a recipient of Hope Scholarship, which is when everyday gamblers lose their money and it goes toward my education.
Leadership and Achievements
editDuring my high school years, I was the chapter president of Future Business Leaders of America. I was also the chapter president of Students Against Destructive Decisions, its affiliated with MADD,Mothers Against Drunk Driving. I graduated in 2008 from Youth Leadership DeKalb, an organization which promote positive leaders in the community. I was selected to participate in National Honors and Beta Club, but I was too cheap to give my high school anymore of my parents’ hard earned money. I was one of the first members of Organization Green, which my high school tried to encourage and educate the student body about energy conservation and the world’s waste. I was in the science and math club but, not for long. I played snare drum and xylophones but, not for long. I played softball in high school, as you already may know, not for long. Basically, I participated in everything in high school but really couldn’t find my niche.
My Future
editI plan for my future to be great. I’m not sure of what I really want to be or do but I know what I like.
My Philosophy
editMy philosophy about Wikipedia is it’s a great tool for students to use. But I can probably name a hundred teachers who feel that the “devil” helped create this online encyclopedia. If there was something I could change it would be a judicial court between Wikipedia contributors, who are in a dispute about a certain topic.
