Tsuyoshi Kan (Japanese: 菅 剛史, Hepburn: Kan Tsuyoshi, born October 5, 1964) is a Japanese television director and television producer from Osaka Prefecture. He is best known for his roles as the producer and narrator of GameCenter CX. Since 2005, he is also the sole founder and president of the Tokyo-based production company Gascoin Company [ja].

History

edit

Kan attended Kyoto Sangyo University and found employment at an Osaka-based production company named Office Madoka in 1986. He started out as an assistant director for Mainichi Broadcasting System, but eventually left after being offered a job in Tokyo for a production company called BeWILD.[1] In 1995, he was credited as a director for the Fuji Television variety program, Bōbō Graph.

On October 1, 2008, BeWILD's production department in Tokyo became independent, as Kan would establish and become president of Gascoin Company. In addition to inheriting GameCenter CX from BeWILD and remaining its producer, he would become the floor director for the Himitsu no Kenmin Show and VS ARASHI.
