Gigaminx (Twisty Puzzle)
The Gigaminx, first mass produced in 2006 by Cube4You is a five-layered, twelve-sided twisty puzzle. It is similar to the megaminx, but has an extra layer on each side, similiar to a 5x5 Rubik's cube. The Gigaminx can be solved using the reduction method to pair the centers and edges, and then solving the rest like you would a megaminx.
Since 2006, two improved versions of the gigaminx have been released. First the Mf8 gigaminx in July 2013, and then the Shengshou Gigaminx in January 2016. Both newer versions can be purchased at various online cubing stores for ~$60 and ~$35 respectively.
