Ned Augustenborg is an American filmmaker and television director best noted for his production of documentaries and live event sports coverage.

In 2023, Augustenborg produced "DON LEWIS and the Live Electronic Orchestra"[1] which aired on PBS stations throughout the United States. Other documentary works include "THE AFFECT: A Band at the Beginning"[2]; profiling a young Hispanic rock band trying to break into the Los Angeles music scene and "Neighborhood Behind Bars"; which examined the California Department of Corrections' efforts in determining prison sites - an EMMY Nomination from the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences and Best Documentary at the Hometown USA Video Festival were received respectively.

Augustenborg was raised in the South Gate, California.located a few miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles.
