Commander Dibyendu Haldi got Commissioned in the Indian Navy on 01 Apr 2007 as Special Duty Officer in the Anti Submarine Warfare Cadre. The Officer hails from a remote village called Jarura in Chandannagar, Hooghly DIST of West Bengal. He had a burning desire to join the defence (Specially Indian Navy) forces since childhood.
The Officer had great leadership qualities and a burning desire to do something better for the Navy and the Nation.
Child Hood : He was the 2nd son in the family. His elder brother Mr Sanjoy Kumar Haldi is a Police Inspector at Kolkata Police and presently posted at Kolkata.
