My name is Matthew Blankenship, but I go by "Nejuf." I am originally from Kane, Pennsylvania and began attending UAT in the fall of 2007. At UAT, I major in game design. After graduating from UAT I plan to teach English in Japan through the JET program or work for a game development company. I intend to move to Japan in the future and in order to learn the Japanese language I have been taking Japanese for nearly two years at UAT.
My ultimate career goal is to be a game designer for Square Enix in Japan. However, developing games for any company that is truly passionate about the product would be satisfactory accomplishment from my education. However, I believe in the practice of life-long learning and will continue to further my education after graduation either formally with an institution or through personal study. The great thing about technology is that it is always changing which means there will always be an opportunity and necessity for continued learning in the game industry.
