The Equilateral Spherical Triangle
The angles of triangles written on the surface of a sphere add up to more than 180 degrees due to the sphere's curvature. The only application for this characteristic is in planning long distance journeys across the planet, but there is a very special case, namely an equilateral triangle with its surface area a third of the sphere's. Three of these jointly completely cover the sphere's surface.
