About me
[edit source]Hello! I'm a Wikipedia contributor. I prefer to let my edits speak for themselves.
I enjoy reading, researching, fixing things, and occasionally disappearing down a Wikipedia rabbit hole for several hours.
I'm interested in learning about different places, people, cultures, science, technology, history, and pretty much anything that makes me curious.
Why I edit
[edit source]I like the idea that anyone can contribute a small piece of knowledge and, collectively, those small contributions become something useful to millions of people.
My main goals are:
- improve articles where I can;
- add useful sources and references;
- fix spelling, grammar, formatting and broken links;
- create or expand articles when there is enough reliable information;
- learn something new along the way.

A few principles
[edit source]- Be curious.
- Assume good faith.
- Check the sources.
- Don't be afraid to fix something.
- Nobody owns an article.

Editing interests
[edit source]I tend to wander between subjects rather than concentrating on one particular area.
Some areas I frequently find interesting:
- Geography and places
- History
- Science and technology
- Culture
- People and biographies
- Nepal and South Asia
- Current affairs
- Miscellaneous obscure things that happen to catch my attention
On Wikipedia
[edit source]I try to keep my contributions neutral, sourced and useful. If I make a mistake, please let me know.
I don't expect to get everything right. That's rather the point of having a community.
If you disagree with one of my edits, feel free to discuss it with me on my talk page.
