Chudamani Shaktipeeth

A famous Shaktipeeth (Place to belong Goddess, Sati), situated in Chudiyala or Chodiyala Village, in Indian State Uttrakhand. According to locals, the village name "Chodiyala" derived from 'Chudi' means bangle or bracelet, and "Wala: one who carry. The local also believe that, a bangle seller, found this temple first and offer his bangles to the temple deity; and the deity blessed him with special Gems called 'Mani' (A mythological shining stone). Every year in Navaratra, the temple is crowded by devotees, who still offer bangles and wooden toys to Goddess.
