I am Dr Njeng Eric Sipyinyu. I am a professor of American and Postcolonial Literatures. my research interests are on gender and queer studies as well as postcolonial studies. I strongly believe that the world can be a better place if we allow ourselves the chance to listen to the stories of the underprivileged even as we listen to those of the privileged. I live in Burundi, East Africa. Burundi is one of the smallest countries on the planet but with a population of about 10 million inhabitants. I teach in the University of Burundi and other Universities like the International Leadership University and Ntare Rugamba University.
