Douglas Tausik Ryder (born 1954) is an American artist and sculptor working with machine tools. Originally from New York, Tausik Ryder lived and worked in Los Angeles before moving to the UK in 2020.

Technological advancement has always been at the center of art-making but never more so than today. Tausik Ryder’s technology-assisted art making uses pioneering creative process, which delivers expressive, crafted sculptures. His innovative work, ignites a dialogue about what art is now and what it will be in the future. Tausik Ryder has taught himself to use G-code and advanced machining techniques, embarking on a multi-year struggle to become adept in the technicalities and nuances of new programs and equipment.
