Bekrije is a tamburica band from Požega founded in 1993.[1] On the tamburicas, they perform original songs, Slavonian folk, fun, pop, rock and old town songs, as well as classics and instrumentals. They are best known for their performances of the songs "Garavušo garava" (1997), for which the lyrics and music were written by Miroslav Škoro.
The founders and members of the first Bekrije were among the top 3 tamburica groups in Croatia, and they were active in 1995-2002.
