I mostly edit articles to clean up grammar and spelling stuff. I also like to remove language that implies that masculinity, heterosexuality, cisgenderism, and whiteness are default settings. The whole of my identity doesn't consist of my gender identity or sexual orientation, but I am of the opinion that identity politics is only a laughable idea when it's not your identity that's being marginalized on a daily basis.
