Lake Kinogami is a 115 acre lake in Cook County, Minnesota which is tributary to the Poplar River.[1] Its name is probably Ojibwe for Long Lake,[2] the name often given on earlier maps.[3] Kinogami is 30 feet deep and clear down to 10.2 feet.[1] The lake bed is primarily composed of muck, with small pockets of sand and gravel around the shore.[3] Sparganium predominates the aquatic foliage, and is clustered around the shore.[3]
