I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Spanish, International Relations) from the University of Queensland (St Lucia Campus). I have also dabbled in linguistics, studying under Professor Roland Sussex of UQ. I used to read in law at the University of Queensland (St Lucia Campus), but I have since moved to Griffith University, Gold Coast Campus.
I moved due to the grave problems facing the UQ TC Beirne School of Law, and the severe decline in teaching quality these problems have created. Put in blunt terms, I moved in order to save my education. I anticipate the day when the UQ Law School becomes a completely research oriented institute in name as well as substance. The Griffith University Law School was ranked the No. 1 public law school in Australia by the respected publication, the Good Universities Guide, in 2005-6. Despite the popularity among the uninformed private school hatchlings of disparaging Griffith University, the Law School contains many of the quality lecturers who left UQ for similar reasons to my own, and its courses and materials are of the finest quality. It is only a matter of a short time before Griffith Law School's reputation matches its excellent academic quality.
My interests include foreign languages (especially Spanish), international relations, the music of Nick Drake, and anything to do with the Spurwinged Plover (Vanellus miles) and springboks (Antidorcas marsupialis). I enjoy working out heavily at the gymnasium on a daily basis, but that is not a very academic pursuit.
