Louise Hannon Leyden. Listed American artist. Born June 17, 1898 in Fresno, CA. Studied at Fresno State University. Married Don Leyden then moved to Southern California, Laguna Beach area. Studied painting with Thomas Hunt, William Griffith and Elanor Colburn. Landscape painter subjects included: Laguna coast, desert areas and Central Valley. In: Monterey Peninsula Museum. Park named in her honor: Louise Leyden Park, Dana Point, CA.
Noted in Who's Who in American Artists 1955-62; Women Artists in America(Collins and Opitz) and Women Artists of the American West. Died 4/21/1978 in San Clemente, CA
