General Introduction

Shevchenko Oleg Anatolyevych (Russian: Шевченко Олег Анатольевичь; born February 11, 1956) is a Ukrainian education teacher. He finished the Civil Aviation engineering institute in Kyiv. Area of scientific researches: mechanics of composite materials and mechanic of destruction. Author to more than 35 scientific and educational works. Teaches courses: "Strength of materials", "Machinery dynamics and durability" (in Ukrainian and barely-understandable English languages). The only teacher who is "better" in English - is labor precaution guy and his phrase: "It's snowing outside! Happy B-day!" Oh, what a fail. S.O.A. likes bending beams and check strengths for objects with one support fixed and other being movable. He actually lives in university - THAT rarely his wife saw him home(that she doesn't even recognize him without a beard).

Lectures vs. Practice

The subject is hilarious! You can actually get a good laugh therapy by just attending lectures(proved to work for F**-*0*) His hate to people coughing and the dislike for military department subject provide his classes with that unique "taste". Movies

He was lately interested in "Firecrosser" movie and been spreading info about it as being a good one, BUT we have managed to find couple of reviews for it which speak otherwise:

Простите, что вмешиваюсь в дискуссию... Сам фильм не скачивал, но просмотрел... Скажу честно, мне не очень пошел... однако, возможно из-за моей нелюбви к философствованиям, которыми наполнились последнее время и кинематограф, и литература, оно и понятно, философия не требует денег на спецеффекты, но надо ж и меру знать. А относительно хохлятского кино, то в принципе, оно нисколько не хуже российского, о говнище которого тоже можно говорить часами!

Посмотрел треть фильма, на большее меня пока что не хватило. Попробую как нибудь досмотреть это мультик-шедевр
В передаче "жди меня" тема про это была и о чудо , хохлы услышали хохлядскую фамилию и быстренько сгондобили паршивенький фильмец )))

Consultation

Sometimes students get that much bored after the phrase number 7 or just getting hyper over the subject that they actually try to perform an experiment practically. There was a case when two students actually broke a desk when trying to conduct a lab work with purpose of "checking by experimentally theoretical formulas for strength analysis of a desk at torsion, compression and a fall of a heavy body upon it". It succeeded! It actually cost those students around 300 UA grivnas to restore the tested subject to its original condition. The one who destroyed the tested specimen had received a brain damage and his behavior was weird since then.

Module Test Classes

Sometimes some students are that confident of themselves, that's why, when S.O.A. puts "-1" on the students module test paper with a pencil, - these students take an eraser in front of the teacher and restore the paper to its original view by erasing that -1 with a phrase:"No deal, Oleg Anatolyevych, no deal"
