Tinkersmiths is a community oriented Makerspace located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This space offers workshops in both the clean-tech and dirty-tech maker categories along with traditional Hackerspace[1] activities. Tinkersmiths is run as a Benefit Corporation.

editMembership and workshops are completely free. Members[2] are allowed to bring guests to most of the events. Some events require the workshop attendee to pay for or bring in their own supplies.

editTinkersmiths is a 750 sq/ft mixed use space at 1229 Harris Street Unit Charlottesville, VA. This location is in walking distance from the city's central Downtown Mall is one of the longest pedestrian malls in the United States.
