Olamide Ogunade is a Nigerian visual artist whose genre of art is contemporary. He was born on the 6th of January 1996, hails from Ogun State but lives in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. He is passionate about art hence his involvement in artistic things like acting, dancing and drumming which reflects in his works.                  
    Olamide noticed his ability to draw at the age of six using any writable material. He finds it interesting as he gets older and decided to develop himself on details by making research and practicing exclusively. He never had primary knowledge in art but finally gained admission making the merit list to study FINE ART in Yaba College of technology (2018/19). 
    Olamide gets inspiration from the happenings in his society which makes him expresses himself  using any  medium  like ballpoint pen, oil paint ,charcoal, acrylic paint or pencil based on the concept at that point in time. His kind of art takes a lot of time as it requires patience and persistence making a mere shading come to life and almost impossible to believe it was created by hand.
     Olamide has exhibited in several group exhibitions In Lagos and Ogun state, Nigeria.  His works were also exhibited among other artists in Luxembourg at the “Afrika First Exhibition”, Also among the exhibiting art at the Stop, Listen group exhibition CFHILL gallery, Sweden . Some of his works were bought and taken to different countries like Burkina Faso, Austria, USA, Germany ,France and Sweden. To add to his wealth of experience, He was invited to United Arab Emirate in 2018 to make artworks for a month. He also won the tecno art challenge 2020. With his art has been able to gain thousands of followers on social media.
