Omari Daley is an erotic & abstract artist who organises exhibitions and events. He is based in Southend, Essex, UK specialising in abstract digital art created using an ipad. Omari Daley has always been interested in art from a young age but started taking art seriously 30 years old.
Omari Daley was born in Newham General Hospital, East London, UK on the 1st December 1985 to Richard Bond and Valerie Jacobs. There he lived with his parents and younger brother Ranako Daley. The whole family then moved to Blackheath, South London, UK where he attended Brooklands Nursery. Omari Daley's mother died at the age of 29 years old due to a brain haemorrhage, Omari Daley was only 8 years old at the time and his brother was only 5 years old.
After this happened his father Richard Bond moved his sons to Bromley, Kent closer to their preschool Braeside Prepatory School for Boys and Girls, this was one of the happiest times in his life. After leaving Braeside Prepatory School at 11 years old he attended Bishop Challoner Catholic School for Boys and Girls. After two terms Omari Daley left Bishop Challoner School due to bullying.
He then attended Ravenswood School for Boys where he stayed until the age of 16. This was a big change as most of his life women and girls formed his core group of friends at school but at a boys school he had to adjust to having only male friends. Looking back this is where Omari felt most lost and began becoming unusually distracted and misbehaved in school due to lack of interest in the learning style, his set allocation and satisfaction in misbehaving with his peers.
After achieving 5 GCSE's at Ravenswood School he then went to Christ the King College in Lewisham, South London where he studied A-level Government & Politics and Media. After 1 year he left Christ the King College with two As-levels but a profound distaste for further education due to the lack of purpose the education provided and lack of connection with his fellow classmates.
Omari Daley then began his working career in retail starting of at Next, London Victoria. After working at Next as a christmas temp he had a number of jobs with different high street brands including Russell and Bromley, Pinet, T.M.Lewin and HMV. He then began working in telesales retailing investments, advertising, photo shoots, I.T. infrastructure and home security services.
Omari Daley then began working in commercial cleaning, catering and labouring while holding music and art exhibitions on the weekends. His first event was a music event held on the 31st January 2014 at The Royal Hotel, Southend, Essex where he hired Mark Lower from France and Rubix to DJ at the event. His second event was an art exhibition held on the May 28th 2017 at Floripa, London coordinated with Boutique Groove, a company owned by his younger brother Ranako Daley. His third event was an art exhibition that was held on 15th October 2017 at The Roslin Hotel, Thorpe Bay, Essex. His fourth event was held on the 24th February 2018 at Annie's Bar, Southend, Essex.
