There is a difference between trivia and trivial.
"X" may be true, but that does not necessarily mean that "X" is worth adding to an article.
Some people seem to want to add details that really aren't noteworthy in scope.
This may happen when they are a fan, and want to squeeze that last bit of worship out,
or when they aren't a fan, and want to squeeze that last bit of shame.
