Ella Manuel (1911 - November 24, 1985) was a Newfoundland born social welfare worker, peace activist, author, and businesswoman who made contributions to social welfare in England and Wales with Spanish children during the Spanish Civil War, and with European Jewish refugees in the United States. Following her return to Newfoundland in the 1940s, she made major contributions to the tourism industry with Lee Wulff.
