Fellow Wikipedians,
I decided to join the league of contributors after several of my patients confronted me with information about their specific conditions which was obtained from this on-line repository of mankind's knowledge and experiences.
My main objective is to enhance articles pertaining to disorders of the lower urinary tract, specifically (but not limited to) disorders/diseases associated with the male urethra. I have been practicing as a Urologist since 1981.
Education and qualifications: Graduate, The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, M.D., Current: Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Current: Diplomat, American Board of Urology, Current: Member, American Urogynecologic Society (with emphasis on post-pregnancy incontinence), Current: Pennsylvania Medical Society, Active Emeritus: Jefferson Medical College, Active Emeritus: Drexel University College of Medicine, DaVinci Robotic Surgical System, Laparoscopic Prostatectomy (certified), Licensure: PA, MD, DE, NJ, FL, VAMC System
I am semi-retired, so I'll be doing this when time allows.
In the event that you have a question regarding my contributions or edits, please email me and I will do my best to answer questions or make necessary corrections to my work.
A physician's best patient is one whom is proactive in his-or-her care. Ask questions, take notes, discuss all of your symptoms and concerns. The quality of your care is largely dependent on the interaction with your physician. ALWAYS seek a least one other opinion from a practitioner outside of the referring physicians circle of influence.PA MD0351XXE (talk) 03:22, 7 November 2011 (UTC)
