[1] Paanee Re Paanee…’ is a statwide campaign begins with the objective to protect traditional water bodies like ponds, lakes, rivers and Forest through community participation by motivating society. This movement acting as joint platform of civil society organizations, Government departments, Academic institutions, professional bodies, volunteers and grass root water activists throughout the State. The campaign was launched in 2016 working on water issues under the joint leadership of conservationists. The campaign leaders believe that government schemes alone will not be able to end the water crisis in the country as people’s participation and ownership is necessary to make it effective.

Under the inspiration of Sanatan Dharmaguru SwamiShri Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati ji started active work for Ganga and the natural resources of water from the year 2014 and during this time a dialogue program called 'Ganga and Bihar' was organized as part of the statewide campaign to discuss the problems of the river Ganga. Apart from natural resources of rivers, ponds and water, there has been an active participation in programs organized for public consciousness towards ground water and forests. After the journey from Chausa in Buxar district, where Ganga river enters in Bihar to Farakka baraj situated in West Bengal to understand the problems of Ganga, continuous work is going on for the Ecological flow of Rivers in Bihar.
