Space-time trellis codes are codes that combine trellis coding and modulation to transmit wireless communications. By using antennas, these codes are able to reduce errors in performance of wireless systems. The codes are dependent on many different criteria with a few balance strategies that use the code for dissemination. Their performance includes good data transmission without losing power, proper bandwidth, and more. The performance of the space-time trellis codes determines how well the codes are developed, the number of antennas with reception, and the transmission of signals by utilizing a strategy called cooperative diversity (an antenna technique for maximizing the capacity of total network channels).[1]
