Patrick Waugh has been living and working in the UK since 2002.
He began his career working in the art departments of British based publications such as Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, World of Interior, Conde Nast Traveler, Italian based magazine Rodeo, GQ, Pop, Arena Homme Plus and i-D magazine.
In 2006 Patrick returned to Arena Homme Plus as the magazines Art director, and in 2007 was also appointed Commissioning Editor where he remained until 2010.
Durring his time at Arena Homme Plus Patrick worked along side the tittles succession of Creative directors, Doug Lloyd of NY based Studio lloyd+co, Michael Amzalag and Mathias Augustyniak of Paris based studio MMparis, and British based Neviel Brody.
In 2007 Patrick was also appointed Art director of Berlin based art and fashion magazine Qvest, where he worked for two years on the bi monthly title and also produced one issue of the tittles biannual edition, Qvestedition.
As a freelance art director Patrick has worked with brands such as Acne Jeans, Adidas, British men’s underwear label Sunspel, Fashion East, Jonatahn Saunders, M Missoni, Missoni, Pollini and Richard Nicoll. Each season Patrick also works closely with the British Fashion Council and has recently worked on the rebranding of the UK’s CFE, Centre for Fashion Enterprise. Patrick also contributes illustrative artwork to magazine titles such as Elle UK, Wallpaper*, Electric Youth, 032c and i-D magazine, as well as producing his own biannual title BOYO.
Patrick is currently the Creative Director of British fashion Biannual, Pop.
