I am currently a graduate student studying music composition with John Howell Morrison at the Longy School of Music of Bard College. As part of my assistantship, I tutor undergraduate students in music theory and keyboard harmony. I received my Bachelor's degrees in Music (with honors) and Psychology from the University of California, Davis in 2010, where I was a two-time recipient of the Olga Brose Valente Memorial Prize for excellence in music composition. My past composition teachers include Kurt Rohde, Ross Bauer, and Laurie San Martin.
In addition to my studies, I work part-time as a box office associate and interim box office manager at Puppet Showplace Theatre, a local theater that offers year-round programming of puppet shows for families and adults.
