The 2015–16 Southampton F.C. season is the Southampton's 17th season in the Premier League and their 39th in the top division of English football[1][2]. It is also their fourth consecutive season in the Premier League since promotion from the Championship in 2012. It will also be the club's first season in a European competition since 2003–04, after the result of the 2015 FA Cup Final meant Southampton qualified for the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League[3]. It is their 9th appearance in European football in their history.
