Company Folders is a Keego Harbor, Michigan based printer which produces folders, binders, portfolios, packaging and other print items for business and promotional use through its website companyfolders.com.[1][2]
History
editCompany Folders was founded on December 1, 2003 by Vladimir Gendelman.[3] Formerly the owner of a computer repair shop, Gendelman noticed the lack of customization options available online for presentation folders and started Company Folders in order to meet that demand.[4] Originally based out of Waterford, Michigan, the business relocated to Keego Harbor, Michigan in June 2008.[5][6]
To further assist clients with creating and optimizing their designs, the Company Folders blog was launched in April 2012. It is regularly updated with articles and tutorials related to graphic design and printing.
As part of the company's efforts to engage with graphic designers and provide with a platform to help them promote their work, Company Folders launched a Folder Design Gallery in May 2013. The gallery showcases folder artwork submissions from across the United States.
On July 8, 2013, Internet Retailer added Company Folders to their Second 500 list of top e-commerce operators and it continues to be listed as of 2015.[7]
On August 18, 2015 Company Folders announced it had been added to the Inc. 5000 annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America coming in at 2817.[8]
