Julie Pearce, accomplished writer of online content and word lover Julie Pearce was born in the Scotland-like Dorrigo mountains nestled proudly above the Coffs Harbour coastline of New South Wales, Australia back in the early 1970s. The result of a couple of dairy farming family's children that fell in love, she was one of three of Alan and Margaret Menzies' children.
Diversity of place and career has always been a part of her life. From the undulating dairy and spud pastures of Dorrigo, to the regional metropolis of Toowoomba in South East Queensland, to further west in Dalby, back to Toowoomba, across to the laid back Sunshine Coast, to Melbourne, to Sydney and back to Melbourne again, she has been building a personal portfolio of memories and stories ready for release in the not too distant future. From enjoying years of being a nanny, to weight loss counselling, to alternative dispute resolution, to client relationship management, to internal communications for one of Australia's big four banking institutions, she is fearless on taking on new challenges.
Corporate communications became her first true career love until unrelenting hours sparked a desire to take her love of writing and turn it into an opportunity to work for herself, closer to home and family.
