Hi! I'm Peripatesy and I've been editing Wikipedia since the early 2000s. After a nearly decade-long hiatus during which I forgot my password, I'm back!
Things I like to do on Wikipedia:
- Add transliterations and native script renderings of key terms
- Give context and clarity to captions and quotes
- Provide illustrative images for articles
- Fix broken links and references
My wiki philosophy leans toward inclusionism and I try to add, on average, more than I remove. There is a lot of inadequately sourced or explained material on Wikipedia that needs attention, but most of it has been added in good faith. It's far more constructive to contact the original contributors and ask them for improvements, or to make those improvements ourselves, than it is to simply revert and delete.
