I am a college student from Washington who works in the Costco Tire Shop part time. I also enjoy working on cars and I own a 2004 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS that I plan to STI swap but I love most all cars. When I am not working on cars I am playing video games. I like most games and I would try any game once but I am fond of racing games and open world games.

My Wikipedia Interests

My main interest are cars and more than likely if I were to continue to edit on Wikipedia long term I would stick to that kind of stuff. I would want to make sure that information about cars that I am interested in have reliable information about them as well as make the language understandable and easy to learn about.

Article Evaluation

I have just recently become interested in modern sports cars, especially the ones from japan. But nobody could predict how popular the Toyota AE86 Corolla has become among car enthusiasts everywhere. I visited the page on Wikipedia and found that it was a good page but there were a few things missing, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: The engine and technical aspects, body styles, and Initial D.

Engine and Technical Aspects

This article does a good job explaining the engine and suspension components but it manly focuses on the Japanese and European markets. It is also missing many of the stats for the North American market. But the technical aspects of the Corolla are very good and they have many statistics that are accurate and well written.

Body styles

The Toyota AE86 has many body styles and sub-models that are hard to list. Although the article has many pictures of the body styles and sub-models that it is easy to distinguish between them. Not to mention the differences between different car markets and how they look. The article does a very well job at showing the differences between them.

Initial D

The article is missing a huge part of why the Toyota AE86 is so popular and that is Initial D. Initial D is a Japanese street racing manga series. The story focuses on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes and rarely in cities or urban areas, and with the drifting racing style emphasized in particular.

Conclusion

Overall I'd say this article is very good if you would like to learn about the technical aspects of the Toyota AE86 but if you wanted to learn about the aftermarket or its importance in pop culture then you may need to go somewhere else. The page has a lot of great knowledge about the Toyota AE86.
